My name is Francesco Carlucci,
I am a Director of Photography, Camera Operator, Logistic & Technical Supervisor with over 20 years of experience in the film and television industry. Originally from Matera, Italy, I built my career across Europe, establishing myself in London, where I have worked on major productions, including No Time to Die and The Book of Clarence.
Passionate about visual storytelling, my journey began in photography and evolved into cinematography through formal training at the New York Film Academy. I later founded waWwa Productions, allowing me to fully explore the creative and technical aspects of filmmaking. Over the years, I have collaborated on a wide range of projects, from independent films and music videos to large-scale productions.
As an ambassador for RED Digital Cinema Europe and ICE for Sony, I stay at the forefront of cinematographic technology, always pushing creative boundaries. My latest projects include Reparations and an upcoming feature film in Scotland with Palm Tree Productions.
I believe cinematography is not just about capturing images but about evoking emotions and telling compelling stories. My approach combines technical expertise with artistic vision, ensuring each project is both visually striking and narratively powerful.
